Warranty at iRefurbished
We believe in the quality of our products. That’s why all of our refurbished iPhones, iPads, Macbooks, and AirPods come with a one-year warranty and the option to extend it to a two-year warranty. If your device suffers from a technical defect during this period, we will happily repair it for you free of charge or offer an adequate replacement.

What is covered by the standard warranty?
First of all, if you receive a device from us that is damaged, incomplete, or defective, please contact us immediately for a replacement or refund.
For cases beyond the initial delivery of the product, the following technical defects are covered within the one-year period by our standard warranty:
- Audio problems (microphone, speaker)
- Network problems (4G/5G, Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS)
- Screen problems (touch not responding, no image)
- Buttons (power button, vibration button, volume buttons)
- Battery (empties quickly, gets warm)
- Charging issues (excluding dust in the charging port)
- Camera problems (no image, no auto focus)
What is covered by the extended two-year warranty?
If you purchase the extended two-year warranty during check-out, you will be covered for the same technical defects as with our standard warranty.
Additionally, if your battery has fallen to less than 70% capacity within the two-year period, we will replace your battery for free.
What if your product cannot be repaired?
While we always try our best to repair your broken product, in some cases this simply isn’t possible. In these cases, your device will be exchanged for a comparable one. If no comparable device is available, you will receive a 100% refund on your purchase in the form of a voucher with iRefurbished.
If the defect happens between 12 to 24 months after purchase, and you have an extended two-year warranty for your product, we will reimburse you with a voucher for 60% of the purchase price in case a repair isn’t possible.
What is not covered by the warranty?
Generally, the warranty does not cover any damage caused by inadequate use. This primarily includes damage caused by fall, impact, and moisture. If you put your iPhone in a microwave, or any other unreasonable place that might damage your device, then this also is not covered by our warranty.
Additionally, the warranty does not apply if illegal or unapproved (by the original manufacturer) software has been installed, or if parts have been replaced by an external party.
Specifically, it does not cover:
- Defects after the warranty period
- Damage due to falls, bumps and/or contact with moisture (cracked/broken parts and/or oxidation)
- Bent devices
- The Touch ID functionality when replacing the home button
- The Face ID functionality when replacing the front camera
- Broken camera lens
- Damaged or dirty charging connector
- Broken SIM card holder
- Loose coating on Retina Macbook screens
- The home button cannot be repaired on all iPhone SE models, so we cannot give any warranty on this.
- Our devices are not waterproof by definition, so we do not guarantee water resistance
Furthermore, if the back cover of a device is significantly damaged or cracked, the device will be considered by us as “Beyond Economical Repair” regardless of the complaint. The time and materials required do not outweigh the current value of a device in combination with the increased risk of subsequent complaints.
If you have a defective product
1. Contact us
If you have any problems within your warranty period, please contact our customer support immediately. This will allow us to assess the damage and decide whether it will be necessary to perform any material repairs, or if we can fix it remotely.
2. Send the product to us
If our support agents recommend sending us your product for repair, please send it to the ACS Tsiriou location for pick-up. Make sure to provide our name and phone number when sending the package. We will be happy to pay for the delivery cost – simply inform the ACS staff that the recipient will pay for it.
Furthermore, before sending your product, please factory reset your device using our device reset manual. This will ensure your data is safe during the process. Finally, please make sure that your product is adequately packaged for the shipping process.
3. Wait 3-5 days to hear from us
Once you have shipped off your device, it will typically take around 1-2 days until we receive it. Once received, we aim to perform any repairs within 72 hours. After this period, we will update you on the progress and arrange the delivery back to you.
